Turkey is ready to take the commodities turnover with Kazakhstan to $10 billion. Nursultan Nazarbayev met with Rifat Hisarcklolu, president of Turkish Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges (TOBB), Tengrinews.kz reports citing Kazakhstan President’s official website.
Hisarcklolu stressed that the goal to bring the level of bilateral trade to $10 billion in the nearest time set by President Nazarbayev and Turkish Prime-Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan will be reached. He stated that a visit of representatives of Turkish business rounds to Kazakhstan had been scheduled to ensure implementation of several investment projects.
“You know that we give high importance to relations between Kazakhstan and Turkey that are currently at a high level. Agreements on several issues were achieved during my last visit to Turkey. Now it is important to implement them. I also believe it necessary to continue discussing main directions of their implementation,” the press-service cites Nursultan Nazarbayev as saying.
Besides, the two countries' businesses will cooperate in innovative industries and jointly implement transport and logistics projects.
“Your visit to Turkey is a big honor for us. Under your leadership Kazakhstan has achieved big success and, being a friendly country, we are proud of that. We are happy to see Kazakhstan’s economic achievements and are ready to make our contribution into achievement of the goals set in the Strategy-2050,” Hisarcklolu said.
