Tengrinews.kz - Mazhilis deputy Daulet Mukaev called for a thorough study of the behavior of quadrobers.

The parliamentarian dedicated a post on his Instagram page to the topic of quadrobers.

"Every month, the number of teenagers imitating animals increases: they meow, bark, howl, and even try to eat like animals. There have been cases abroad where such teenagers bit or scratched people. People are losing their human appearance, moving closer to animal behavior. This phenomenon spreads like a contagious disease, especially among teenagers who adopt this behavior from each other," the deputy wrote.

Mukaev believes that "major business interests" are behind the subculture, and he calls quadrobing a dangerous disease for society.

"It is necessary for our authorities to thoroughly study the behavior of quadrobers. If needed, we (Parliament) are ready to develop a special law to combat this phenomenon," he added.

In Central Asian countries and the post-Soviet space, a phenomenon known as "quadrobica" has spread - a subculture in which children and teenagers imitate animals, moving on all fours and using accessories such as masks and tails.

On October 14, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan issued an official statement regarding the unacceptability of quadrobing among the youth, emphasizing that parents are responsible for the upbringing of their children. The authorities stated that such actions could result in administrative penalties, including fines, and may even require psychological assessments to evaluate their impact on the child's mental health.
