Kazakhstan residents will have only one day off on August 30 to celebrate the Constitution Day, Tengrinews.kz reports citing the press-service of Kazakhstan Government. This year August 30 falls on Thursday, so Kazakhstan residents will only have one day off. According to the Holidays Law, the Constitution Day is considered a state holiday. This day will be a day off in line with the Labor Code of Kazakhstan. “National and state holidays in Kazakhstan are considered holidays in line with the labor legislation. Holidays are considered days off in Kazakhstan. In case a day off coincides with a holiday, the business day following the holiday shall be considered a day off,” Article 5 of the Holiday Law states.
