Tengrinews.kz - Tickets for Jennifer Lopez's upcoming concert in Astana will go on sale starting April 11, according to the producer of the Astana Concert company, Malik Khassenov.
Tickets will be available exclusively through Freedom and Ticketon websites.
Khassenov said organizers plan to implement international practices to prevent scalping. Tickets will be distributed just a few days before the concert, and each customer will be limited to purchasing no more than four tickets.
Explaining the choice of artist, Khassenov said negotiations with Lopez’s team took over six months.
"We carefully studied the touring schedules of major stars. The fee and logistics were key factors – if an artist can travel to the region with minimal costs, our chances increase. Eventually, Jennifer Lopez decided to include Kazakhstan in her tour.
She has 240 million followers on Instagram – that’s more than the entire population of our country. It’s incredibly exciting that a global superstar is coming here. I grew up listening to her music. We saw her perform in Abu Dhabi, and it was an unforgettable experience. Astana will get the same level of 'Class A' show," he added.
Recall that Jennifer Lopez will perform in Astana on August 1. She will arrive in the capital of Kazakhstan from Abu Dhabi as part of her world tour, Up All Night. JLo's concert will take place at the Astana Arena.
