According to weather forecasters, in the coming days, two opposing atmospheric processes will influence the weather in Kazakhstan. An anticyclone covering the eastern, central, and northeastern regions will provide dry and stable weather without precipitation there. At the same time, the western, northern, and southern regions will be under the influence of the trough of the northwestern cyclone, which will lead to rain and snow, increased wind, and the formation of ice. In some areas, fog is possible, impairing visibility.
Temperatures in the west of Kazakhstan will be around +2…+7°C at night and +12…+20°C during the day. In the northern regions, nighttime temperatures will range from -10…-1°C to -3…-2°C, while daytime temperatures will rise from +1…+6°C to +5…+10°C.
In the east of the country, nighttime temperatures will increase from -22…-12°C to -12…-5°C, while daytime temperatures will change from -2…+6°C to +1…+8°C.
In the south of the country, temperatures are forecast to be +2…+7°C at night, with daytime temperatures rising from +13…+18°C to +18…+23°C.
In the southeast, nighttime temperatures will range from -2°C to +3°C, and in the mountains…
However, precipitation, fog, and icy conditions can complicate the road situation, so drivers are advised to take precautions.
