Tengrinews.kz - Tests of a two-lane bridge over the Bukhtarma Reservoir, which promises to become the longest in Kazakhstan, were conducted in the East Kazakhstan Region.

A convoy of 15 loaded dump trucks, with a total weight of 450 tons, was driven across the bridge. Special sensors recorded indicators of deformation, vibration, and load distribution on the structure.

Based on the results, experts concluded that the bridge meets regulatory requirements.

In Semey, construction is underway on a bridge over the Irtysh River, which will consist of 9 supports and 8 spans.

Its total length will be 1,350 meters, of which 810 meters will be the main bridge, and the remaining 540 meters will be road approaches on both sides.

The width of the bridge will be 23 meters.

Earlier, according to the Ministry of Transport, the construction of supports and the installation of metal structures for the bridge over the Bukhtarma Reservoir in East Kazakhstan has been fully completed.
