A man has been driving a wheeled bath tub in Almaty this week, Tengrinews.kz reports. Other drivers took a video of the man with soaped head and a towel over his back driving his portable bath tub on Abay street towards Rozybakiyev street. The new type of transport was also equipped with a small trailer. The video was uploaded on YouTube and social networks. Internet users believe this invention to be quite useful. “Those who don't have enough time to take a shower in the morning can do so on their way to work. I think this makes sense,” one of the commenters wrote. Video by Anton Afonin© Almaty road police later contacted the man, the press-service of Road Police Department writes. He turned out to be a 22-y.o. citizen of Almaty who repairs household and car appliances. “The young man wrote in his explanatory note that he made the above vehicle himself from an old bath tub and a scooter engine. That day the man decided to check his invention on the road,” head of prevention and media relations group of the Road Police Department Akbota Kuanyshbekkyzy said. The inventor said that he did not violate any traffic rules and moved only along the low speed right lane to make sure he does not get in the way of other cars. “A preventive talk was held with Mr. K. and he promised to stop the tests that pose high risk to life and health of the traffic participants and to him especially considering the traffic in the city. The road police made him a verbal notice only,” the police informed.
