Tengrinews.kz - Senators have adopted amendments to the law "On Amendments and Additions to Certain Legislative Acts on Issues of Culture, Education, and Mentorship."

According to the new amendments to the "On the Rights of a Child" law, the concept of "mentorship organization" has been introduced.

"The law 'On the Rights of a Child”' introduces the concept of 'mentorship organization.' To regulate the mentorship system for orphaned children and children without parental care, it is required that individuals wishing to become mentors undergo training in mentorship. Additionally, the rights and responsibilities of organizations that organize mentorship training are defined," said Nurtore Zhussip, Chairman of the Senate Committee on Social and Cultural Development and Science.

Previously, the Criminal Code of Kazakhstan is being amended with a new article that will introduce responsibility for the illegal provision of rewards. This amendment is part of changes and additions to legislative acts regarding anti-corruption measures.
