Tengrinews.kz - The National Security Committee (NSC), coordinated by the prosecutor's office, detained four citizens of Kazakhstan.
According to NSC, on January 22, arrests were made in the cities of Astana and Kosshy in the Akmola region.

"They are suspected of promoting terrorism, organizing and participating in extremist activities, as well as recruiting new supporters. During searches at their places of residence, religious materials and other material evidence were seized. A pre-trial investigation is currently underway under Articles 256, 259 and 405 of the Criminal Code," the report says.
Other information in accordance with Part 1 of Article 201 of the Criminal Procedure Code is not subject to disclosure.
Earlier, The National Security Committee, in coordination with the General Prosecutor's Office, has intercepted a regional drug supply channel from southern regions of Kazakhstan to Astana.
