Argentinean boxer, WBC middleweight champion Sergio Gabriel Martinez views Kazakhstan boxer Gennady Golovkin as one of his future opponents, Vesti.kz reports citing Martinez’ adviser Sampson Lewkowicz. “Everyone loves a unification. Gennady Golovkin and Daniel Geale are quality fighters who have been promoted very well. Right now we are focused on the fight with Martin Murray (on April 27), but Golovkin and Geale are very good options for Sergio in the near future,” Lewkowicz said. Martinez had 54 fights, winning 50 of them with 28 KOs. He also had 2 ties and 2 defeats in his career. Golovkin won all 26 fights of his professional career and 23 of them with KOs. In the last fight Golovkin knocked out Japanese boxer Nobuhiro Ishida on March 31.
