A dolphinarium, an aqua park and a ski slope will be constructed at Sayran lake in Almaty, Tengrinews.kz reports, citing Eldar Kildibayev, Almaty National Resources and Environmental Management Department deputy director. Pleasure grounds including amusement rides, cinema theater, concert hall, boat station, children's playground and aqua park will be constructed at the territory of the lake. The ski slope will work at Sayran in winter. According to the project, extreme-zones: paintball sites and zorbing slope (a recreation of rolling downhill in an orb, generally made of transparent plastic) will be built here. Skate grounds, trampolines, mini-football, basketball, and beach volleyball grounds will be situated here as well. The construction will be finished by 2016. The cost of the project is 4.3 billion tenge ($29 million). Dolphinarium construction project is underway at present. However, it is already known that this facility will provide an opportunity of direct contact between the animals and people. Children suffering infantile cerebral paralysis will be treated in dolphinarium as well. Earlier Akim (Mayor) of Almaty city Akhmetzhan Yessimov announced that large-scale works of Sayran lake's bottom and shores cleaning will be implemented in 2012. Recreation zones will be constructed here as well.
