Lama Sharif congratulated Muslims of Kazakhstan on Ramadan

Chairman of the Agency of Kazakhstan for Religious Affairs Kairat Lama Sharif congratulated Muslims of Kazakhstan on the start of the holy month of Ramadan, Tengrinews.kz reports citing the message of the Agency as of August 1. “The main commandments for Oraza fast is to be merciful and compassionate, provide aid to those in need and do good deeds. It is good to known that Muslims of our multinational country follow these commandments in their everyday lives and live in peace and accord with representatives of other religions,” the congratulatory message says. The holy month of Ramadan started on August 1 this year. Earlier today Chairman of the Spiritual Management of Muslims of Kazakhstan and Grand Mufti Sheikh Absattar Hadji Derbisali has already addressed the Muslims on the occasion of the event.
