The cameraman of Raider knocked down in a car accident on May 20 in Almaty died in the hospital without regaining consciousness, his colleague and the show’s editor-in-chief Aleksey Borodikhin told Tengrinews.kz. According to him, 23-year-old Askhat Sissenov had a second surgery on May 23. The doctors suspected another hemorrhage in the occipital lobe. His condition deteriorated after the surgery and he died in the morning of May 24. The speaker noted that the funeral of Askhat Sissenov would be held on Saturday, May 26. Earlier Tengrinews.kz English reported that Askhat Sissenov was knocked down by a car driving along tramway rails. The car’s driver just turned 18. The car was a gift for his birthday. After the accident the cameraman was delivered to a hospital where doctors diagnosed him with a brain injury and basal skull fracture.
