Kazakhstan's response to the popular TV series Sex and the City is being finalized in Almaty, Tengrinews.kz reports, citing Liter.kz. A new series called Friends will be released and aired by one of the major TV channels in April. The series will show lives of five not very young women. The main characters are typical big city residents. They experience different problems and try to tune up their personal lives. Their search for happiness constitutes the main plot of the series. It is known that Ainur Turganbayeva will be starring as one of the main characters - the woman named Zamira. The series is produced by Satayfilm company. Authors of the serial are promising a brand new approach to shooting with a so called spying effect. Timur Zhaksylykov is the screenwriter of the serial. He is the writer of all the scripts of Akhan Satayev's films. Satayev is the producer of the project. Authors plan to make 55 series of the new TV project to begin with.
