Tengrinews.kz - A new railway tour will launch between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.
The tour, named "Silk Road," will begin its first trip between Almaty, Turkestan, Tashkent, and back to Almaty on November 16, 2024.
"The 4-day tour will allow tourists to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of ancient cities and follow the trail of the Great Silk Road. The route includes key attractions in Turkestan and Tashkent. To ensure convenience for travelers, the tour includes a guide, meals, transportation services, and entrance tickets," said the Ministry of Tourism and Sports in a statement posted on the official Telegram channel.
Additionally, travelers will visit one of the oldest cities in Central Asia, Otyrar. The itinerary also includes visits to the Mausoleum of Arystanbab, the historical and cultural reserve-museum "Azret Sultan," and the "Karavansaray" tourist complex. In Tashkent, participants will have the opportunity to explore both the historical landmarks and the modern developments of the city.
