Tengrinews.kz - The Constitutional Court did not find acceptable conditions for a repeated review of the norm regarding the powers of akimats in considering notifications for peaceful assemblies.

Earlier, a citizen had appealed to the Constitutional Court to review the constitutionality of certain provisions of the Law "On the Procedure for Organizing and Holding Peaceful Assemblies in the Republic of Kazakhstan."

"Following the preliminary study of the applicant's appeal, the Constitutional Court stated that the mentioned legal provisions had previously been reviewed, resulting in a regulatory ruling dated January 20, 2025, No. 61-NP, which comprehensively outlines the legal positions and decision following the review," the court's statement said.

Earlier, we reported that the Constitutional Court of Kazakhstan had provided an interpretation of the norm regarding the procedure for holding peaceful assemblies.
