Tengrinews.kz - Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Healthcare has evaluated the potential health risks associated with gadget radiation.
According to the ministry, devices emit a small amount of radiation.
"Modern people spend more time each year in front of computer, laptop, TV, and phone screens, and each of these devices emits microwaves while in use. However, the intensity of these microwaves is very low, and device casings act as a shield. Therefore, modern devices pose no harm," the ministry clarified in response to an inquiry.
The ministry also cited World Health Organization recommendations, advising that children under five limit screen time to one hour or less, while children under one should avoid it altogether.
"There are no specific guidelines for adults regarding screen time," the ministry added.
