Tengrinews.kz - Kazhydromet reported that an approaching Atlantic cyclone is set to bring rain and snow to various regions of Kazakhstan from January 16 to 18.
According to meteorologists, after a brief break in unstable weather, the cyclone will move across the country, bringing precipitation in the form of rain and snow to the west, south, and southeast. Other regions can expect snowfall, with heavy precipitation likely in mountainous areas of the south and southeast.
"Wind intensification, blizzards, icy conditions, and localized fog are expected. However, significant changes in temperature are not anticipated," meteorologists said.
Earlier, forecasters provided an outlook on weather conditions across Kazakhstan for January.
