According to the UK government website, as part of sanctions against Russia due to military actions in Ukraine, restrictions have been imposed on 56 individuals and entities. Notably, this is the largest sanctions package since May 2023, affecting 56 entities, including companies from Kazakhstan, China, and Turkey, as well as private military groups linked to the Kremlin.
The list of companies from Kazakhstan affected by UK sanctions includes the following organizations:
- LLP TawKZ (engaged in the production of industrial bearings, instruments, tools, and equipment parts);
- LLP Rabadaziya (wholesale trade, owned by a foreign individual);
- CPS Energy (a municipal electricity company);
- Zapchasttrade (wholesale trade of auto parts and accessories);
- LLP Kazstanex (involved in manufacturing and supplying various goods and services in engineering);
- Stanex Group (supplies industrial equipment and construction materials).
The sanctions entail asset freezes and restrictions on the provision of trust services.
Previously, Deputy Chairman of The State Revenue Committee of Ministry of Finance Seilzhan Akhmetov named the amount of the largest debt of a bankrupt in Kazakhstan.
