Kazakhstan-made Harmony Lessons movie that was awarded with Berlinale Silver Bear will be part of the official selection of the 5th CPH:PIX International Film Festival, Tengrinews.kz reports referring to KazakhFilm press-service. CPH:PIX is one of the biggest Danish Film project for cinema lovers. The Festival is held since 2009. Movies made by young and talented filmmakers from all over the world are usually screened in the Festival. More than 170 movies made by prominent directors, who became known for their pictures, will be demonstrated as part of the festival this year. Northwest, directed by Denmark’s Michael Noer, will open the Festival. Harmony Lessons, Emir Baigazin’s debut movie, became the first Kazakhstan-made film to be screened as part of the official selection of the Berlin Film Festival. The movie was awarded with the Silver Bear for Artistic Achievement for its cinematographer Aziz Zhambakiyev. Besides, the movie got the prize of the prominent German newspaper Morgen Post.
