A wolf called Tengrinews was born in Almaty zoo, Tengrinews.kz reports. According to director of Almaty zoo Zhanat Yestayev, the cub of the zoo's couple of Canadian wolves was born over a month ago. He is in excellent condition. Tenrginews has a good appetite. The cub is known for its hot temper: it often steals the best pieces of meat from its parents. “Two wolves were born in our zoo. The black one was called Tengrinews after a well-known Kazakhstan Internet-platform. This way we want to draw attention of the media to our animals and their care,” Yestayev said. He also added that three ponies were born in the zoo this year. All new-born animals feel well.
