Suleymenov gained 8th Olympic spot for Kazakhstan boxing team

Ilyas Suleymenov gained the 8th London Olympic spot for Kazakhstan national boxing team, Tengrinews.kz reports, citing Kazakhstan Boxing Federation press-office. Suleymenov, 52-kilogram boxer, reached the semi-final in Astana qualification tournament. He fought against Chinese Young Chang, Asian champion of 2011. Kazakhstan boxer turned out to be stronger with the score of 19:12. Earlier Daniyar Yeleussinov qualified for the Olympics in the same tournament in Astana. National boxing team hopes to get two more Olympic spots in the tournament that will last till April, 12.
