Kazakhstan will set up its own ethnic village at the London Olympics, Tengrinews.kz reports, citing Talgat Yermegiyayev, Sport and Physical Education Agency head.
“We are planning to set up a Kazakh village, a nook where we will be able to present our traditions and explain them. We have a lot of friendly relations with other countries. Also there are a lot of countries that don’t have any relationships with Kazakhstan. That’s why we’d like to promote Kazakhstan more. Not only to other countries athletes, but also to fans and all the people who will be interested,” Talgat Yermegiyayev said.
Earlier Tengrinews.kz reported that Kazakhstan national team’s anthem and Olympics merchandise has been produced for the national team’s fans. The T-shirts, caps and sporting pennants have been presented at the Sports and Physical Education Agency aready.
