Kazakhstan judoka Gulzhan Issanova won a gold medal at the World Judo Grand-Prix stage in Tashkent, Vesti.kz reports. The championship took place on October 4-6, 2013 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. The winner of the Judo Grand-Prix stage in Almaty Gulzhan faced Javzmaa Odkhuu from Mongolia in the final combat of the +78kg weight division. Issanova needed less than a minute to beat her rival and gain victory by fall. Kazakhstan women's national judo team won a total of 5 medals at the Grand-Prix. Issanova gained gold, Alexandra Podryadova (-48kg) took silver and Nazgul Kubasheva (-57kg), Marian Urdabayeva (-63kg) and Albina Amangeldiyeva (-78kg) brought 3 bronze medals to Kazakhstan.
