Ilya Ilyin beats personal clean and jerk record

Two-time Olympic Champion in weightlifting and the Olympic and world record holder Ilya Ilyin of Kazakhstan has once again beat his record in clean and jerk, Tengrinews reports citing Vesti.kz.

Avid Instagram user (ilyailyin4ever) Ilyin posed a video of his new record and wrote: “One more Record. 242 kg in clean and jerk”.

Ilyin also updated his snatch record. "My new RECORD snatch 205 kG!!" posted the Olympic champ on his Intsagram page.

At the London Olympics the Kyzylorda native snatched 198 kilos and lifted effortlessly 240 kilos in clean and jerk.
