Football: Kazakhstan retains position in FIFA

Kazakhstan national football team has kept its 142nd line in the updated International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) ranking, Vesti.kz reports. The Kazakhstan team, coached by Miroslav Beranek, scored 16 points for its victory over Moldova in a friendly with the score of 3:1. However, this was insufficient to move up in the ranking. Meanwhile, Moldova lost nine lines and is ranked 137th now. Spain is still the leader of the FIFA ranking. Germany and Argentina follow it. The UK lost two lines and moved down to the sixth place. Italy and Columbia also lost one lines each. Russia is ranked tenth in the updated ranking.
