Kazakhstan team Astana completed the 12th stage of the world’s most prestigious rally Dakar at the ninth place, SportLive.kz reports.
Astana was 19 minutes 14 seconds behind the leader of the stage, Dutch racer Gerard de Rooy.
It took IVECO racer 2 hours 59 minutes to complete the stage. Dutch racer Hans Stacey and Italian racer Miki Biasion, who also represent IVECO, are among three leaders. The racers finished the stage simultaneously.
Kazakhstan team led by Arthur Ardavichus still remains third in the general classification two stages before the end of the race. Astana is 1 hour 40 minutes behind Rooy and Stacey is a little more than 40 minutes behind the leader.
