Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev stated that his work visit to France was important and successful, Tengrinews.kz reports citing the President’s official website. “During the visit I had successful talks with French President Francois Hollande and we agreed to enhance and develop cooperation between our countries. Besides, I held several bilateral meetings with representatives of political and business rounds of France. We discussed expansion of interstate interaction in different areas. In particular, we talked about production of air and railroad transport and tapping renewable energy sources. Transfer of French technologies is very important for Kazakhstan. 25 projects are currently being implemented in Kazakhstan jointly with French partners,” Kazakhstan President noted. The President once again congratulated Kazakhstan people on the victory in the bidding to hosting the global exhibition: “EXPO-2017 will once again make Kazakhstan world-famous. The Energy of the Future is an important topic these days. Exhibitions like these form the agenda of development of the global economy. We will build EXPO-2017 in Astana and equip our exposition with advanced technologies. This will be a very beautiful facility, one of the best brands of our capital. This is a good event for Kazakhstan and all Kazakhstan people. It will demonstrate our capacities. I once again congratulate Kazakhstan residents on this occasion.”
