Nazarbayev suggested SCO countries to cooperate in energy, Tengrinews.kz reports from the SCO summit in Beijing. “Unfortunately, partnership and mutual work are normally bilateral during such forums. We have not performed any projects together, any project that would include the whole SCO. I think that the secretariat and its new management have to think about it. This could be transport and transit cooperation in energy, to get all the countries involved,” Nursultan Nazarbayev said at the meeting of the Council of heads of SCO member-states in Beijing. Speaking about the transport and transit potential, Kazakhstan President stressed the necessity of increasing the mutual commodities turnover in SCO, joining the markets of the countries and expansion of the transit cargo flows between Asia and Europe. “Adoption of SCO inter-government agreement on international trucking is an important step in this direction. Western Europe-Western China international trunk road is an important chain in the transport and trade cooperation.
