Nauryz was celebrated in the oldest Jesus College in Great Britain. The event was organized by the Central Asia Forum of the Cambridge University, Tengrinews.kz reports. The celebration was attended by the officials led by Kazakhstan Vice-PM Kairat Kelimbetov who delivered a welcoming speech on behalf of Kazakhstan party, members of Central Asia Forum of the Cambridge University, including professor Montu Saxena and academic board member Chokan Laumulin, heads and representatives of the embassies of Central Asian countries. Lord Earl of Clanwilliam read out greetings from the president and founder of the humanitarian fund Awaken: The Earth Foundation Aliya Nazarbayeva on the fund’s initiative and the wishes of further successful cooperation for promotion of ecological and humanitarian movement.
