Mynbayev appointed chairman of KazMunaiGas board Kazakhstan Oil and Gas Minister Sauat Mynbayev

Kazakhstan Oil and Gas Minister Sauat Mynbayev was appointed chairman of the board of KazMunaiGas, Tengrinews.kz reports citing the protocol of the meeting of Samruk-Kazyna National Welfare Fund’s board published on KASE website. “Sauat Mynbayev shall be elected (appointed) chairman of the board of KazMunaiGas National Company,” the protocol writes. According to the document, the Fund’s board decided to terminate the authorities of KMG board chairman Umirzak Shukeyev ahead of time. Besides, the board decided to elect Nurlan Rakhmetov board member provided that Samruk-Kazyna approves the appointment.
