Aslan Musin appointed Kazakhstan Ambassador to Croatia

Aslan Musin has been appointed the new Kazakhstan Ambassador to Croatia, Tengrinews reports citing the President's press-service. "Aslan Musin has been appointed Kazakhstan Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Croatia by a presidential decree," the message said. Earlier, Aslan Musin, 60, was relieved from the position of chairman of the Accounts Commission for Control over Implementation of the State Budget that he occupied since September 2012. Before that he led the Presidential Administration of Kazakhstan for 4 years. His political career started from serving as the Akim (Governor) of Aktobe Oblast in 1995-2000, then he governed Atyrau Oblast. In 2006 Musin was appointed Minister of Economy and Budget Planning of Kazakhstan and in 2007 he became the speaker of the Majilis (Lower Chamber of the Parliament).
