Prime-Minister of Kazakhstan Karim Massimov has called to develop a competitive business community, Tengrinews.kz correspondent reports. Kazakhstan won't be able to successfully move onwards without competitive businesses, Prime-Minister said at the opening of the business forum in Astana. "Competitive businesses have been formed in our country, and during the crisis they once again proved their sustainability. We are walking the right path," Prime-Minister Massimov said. He continued by saying that "stabilization of the banking sector" is one the priorities that should be given special attention. Business community should not forget about its role in post-crisis development of the country's economy, Prime Minister said and recommended the country's businesses to rely on the Business Road Map 2020 . The Business Road Map 2020 is a government program adopted in 2010. It is called to ensure balanced development of non-extractive industries in all the regions of Kazakhstan, to maintain the existing jobs and create new ones. Its key areas include support to new business initiatives and export-oriented industries.
