Vice-Chairman of the Central Military Commission of China will render an official visit to Kazakhstan, Tengrinews.kz reports citing the press-service of Kazakhstan Defense Ministry. A has been held between Kazakhstan Defense Minister Adilbek Dzhaksybekov and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of China to Kazakhstan Zhou Li. “I am pleased to note the successful and consistent development of Kazakhstan-Chinese cooperation that is based on good-neighborly friendly relations. Heads of our countries have agreed to continue enhancing and expanding interaction between Kazakhstan and China in all directions, including military-technical sector,” the Minister said. The current cooperation in the military sector between the Defense Ministries of both countries lays in implementation of existing agreements, military-technical interaction and cooperation in training of military personnel. 20 Kazakhstan militarymen are currently studying in China. “Kazakhstan and China are maintaining an active political dialog and successfully interact in the military sector. Kazakhstan Armed Forces have been developing very dynamically over the last 3 years. The recent victory of the Special Forces in the International Surveillance Groups Contest Altyn Uki became another confirmation of the development,” Zhou Li said. According to the Ministry’s press-service, the parties expressed confidence that the first official visit of the Vice-Chairman of the Central Military Commission of China Fan Changlong to Kazakhstan will become a landmark in Kazakhstan-Chinese mutually beneficial military cooperation. The visit is scheduled for July 18-20.
