Kazakhstan military pilots are studying tactics of fighting in urban areas, Tengrinews.kz reports citing the press-service of Kazakhstan Defense Ministry. “A military-scientific conference for military officers of the Air Forces has been held at the Military-Engineering Institute of Radionics and Communication in Almaty. The conference was called to analyze use of aviation in military conflicts by foreign countries and work out suggestions on training of pilots for military actions in urban areas,” the message states. Participants of the conference emphasized the importance of comprehensive provision and equipment of the aviation for the military actions. Availability of modern avionics and equipment is one of the key issues defining battle capacities. Special attention was given to drones at the conference. Their use allows to perform stable and constant real time monitoring of urban areas without any risk for the personnel. Kazakhstan military experts are studying technical capacities and characteristics of the drones produced by the leading countries as they are planing to purchase them for the Armed Forces of Kazakhstan. KADEX exhibition of armament and military equipment has been held in Kazakhstan every two years starting from 2010. It has significantly expanded the capacities for search and selection of the armament. “The participants of the conference noted the importance of training pilots in the use of the precision weapons during fight and studying the experience in use of aviation in urban areas by foreign countries. They also discussed management of Air Forces divisions during military actions and coordinating aviation with other armed forces,” the Ministry’s press-release says.
