KazMunaiGas Onymderi, a subsidiary of the Kazakhstan national oil and gas company, is going to be establish and designated as the sole operator managing all the deliveries of petroleum products supplies from Russia, Tengrinews reports citing the Minister of Economy and Budget Planning of Kazakhstan Yerbolat Dossayev.
“To regulate bulk supplies of oil products and ensure stability of the domestic market a single operator - KazMunaiGas Onymderi - will be created to manage supplies from Russia," Dossayev said at the yesterday's meeting in the Majilis (Lower Chamber of the Parliament).
He added that to meet the demand of the domestic market and stabilize prices of the main oil products, a schedule of supplies will be made for all the oblasts of Kazakhstan and of two of the country's largest cities Astana and Almaty. Besides, ceiling prices on petrol and diesel fuel will be set monthly.
