Tengrinews.kz - A new park is emerging on a formerly vacant lot near the Keruen shopping mall in Astana.

According to the capital’s Center of Urbanism, while much of the work is done, a few finishing touches remain, including the installation of playgrounds, benches, trash bins, and retaining walls made of weathering steel.

In the spring, the park will be further enhanced with perennial shrubs, adding greenery and diversity to the landscape.

"The park will become a significant green oasis within the city, providing residents and visitors a space to relax and enjoy nature," stated the Center of Urbanism of Astana in a social media post.

A new 157-hectare tourism district, planned to include hotels, restaurants, and entertainment complexes, is set to be created in Astana.
