Tengrinews.kz - The Ministry of Transport announced new routes that will be launched in 2025.
The ministry responded to an official inquiry from Tengrinews.kz.
It was reported that in 2025, JSC "Passenger Transportation" plans to organize new trains on the following routes:
- "Talgo" cars (N 101/102 Almaty – Astana – every other day, N 112/111 Astana – Shymkent – daily);
- standard cars (N 666/665 Aktobe – Shalkar – every other day);
- extension of train N 83/84 Karaganda – Samara to Moscow station with a frequency of twice a week.
In addition, during the summer period of 2025, JSC "Passenger Transportation" plans to organize the following trains:
- "Talgo" cars (N 207/208 Almaty – Dostyk – once every 4 days, N 211/212 Almaty – Dostyk – every other day, N 254/253 Astana – Dostyk – twice a week);
- standard cars (N 202/201 Astana – Almaty – daily, N 204/203 Astana – Shymkent – daily, N 257/258 Uralsk – Aktobe – Astana – every other day, N 221/222 Almaty – Dostyk – three times a week).
"Since the indicated trains are commercial, the fares will be known after the approval of the new schedule for 2024-2025," the ministry reported.
