The action takes place in the early 18th century, during the war against the Dzhungar tribe. The unity of Kazakh people and their heroism becomes the main factor that ended the long war. Young warriors led by courageous Sartai stand up together with grown-ups to protect their Motherland. Sartai's legendary army, known as Myn Bala (1000 boys), joins the battle against the enemy and changes the course of the war.
