Fireworks lit the sky near the Kuwait Towers during the celebrations marking the Gulf state's 50th anniversary in Kuwait City on November 10, 2012. Kuwait marked the golden jubilee of its constitution with a spectacular $15-million fireworks display which earned the wealthy Gulf state a place in the Guinness Book of World Records.
