Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev expressed his opinion on the role of women in Kazakhstan’s society, Tengrinews.kz reports. Speaking to the students of Nazarbayev University, the President told about the role of women in modern Kazakhstan, when asked about the International Women’s Day and its meaning for him. First he said that men have to promote involvement of women in ruling the country. “In my life experience, women managers and ministers have always been more responsible than men." "But women always first for equality," he continued, "and I don’t know whether this is good or bad, but women have their own roles and men have their own,” Nazarbayev said. Speaking of women’s role in the family, Nazarbayev stressed that a mother has to personally raise her child and not entrust him or her to nannies. “The family and raising children are most important for women,” Nazarbayev stated. President also noted that he supports the idea of Singapore president. The idea is simple and states that parents with higher education have smart children.
