Former captain of Kazakhstan national rugby team may become a pilot of Air Astana, Tengrinews.kz reports. The airline continues hiring and training new pilots under Ab-initio program of pilots’ initial training. Timur Mashurov and other cadets passed a difficult selection that included three stages: medical check-up, psychometrical tests and the English language test. “Having become a pilot of Air Astana, I will get a new popular job that inspires me and gives me new challenges, I will be able to financially support my family and make my childhood dream come true,” the sportsman said. Training of 42 candidates will start on September 26. According to plan, 18 more cadets will be selected before the end of 2011. Since the beginning of the program Air Astana has trained and provided jobs to 92 pilots. By Linda Buran
