Yesterday, May 13, Kazakhstan’s Foreign Minister Erzhan Kazykhanov met ex Foreign Minister of Spain Miguel Angel Moratinos, in Almaty, Tengrinews.kz reports. Miguel Angel Moratinos informed that Spain's Prime Minister Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero would visit Kazakhstan in June 2011. He stressed that bilateral ties between the two nations “have reached the peak”. The two diplomats discussed consequences of the global financial crisis, as well as related issues of food security and social-economic development. Besides, they exchanged their opinion on the situation in the Middle East.
