Doctors update on Japanese passenger's condition of Swiss plane

Tengrinews.kz – Doctors have provided an update on the condition of the passenger from a Swiss plane that made an emergency landing earlier at Astana airport.

The Health Department of the Astana reported that the patient has been transferred to a stroke unit and is currently showing improvement.

On August 17, a Swissair flight from Tokyo to Zurich made an emergency landing at Astana airport due to a suspected stroke in a 50-year-old passenger. The Japanese citizen was urgently hospitalized.

Earlier, Deputy Minister of Transport Talgat Lastayev stated that Switzerland will be responsible for investigating the aviation incident at Astana International Airport.
