Bitcoin exchange rate hit a new record

Tengrinews.kz - Bitcoin has surged above $108,000, setting a new all-time high, according to data from the largest cryptocurrency exchange, Binance.

The exchange reports that Bitcoin was trading at $108,069.22, showing an increase of 2.44 percent over the past 24 hours.

The previous record was set on Monday when the price reached $107,195.58.

Market analysts attribute the cryptocurrency's rising value to expectations that U.S. President-elect Donald Trump will promote measures to ease Bitcoin regulations.
