Four people have been killed in a crash of a military helicopter Mi-17 not far for an airport near Astana, Tengrinews.kz reports referring to the Defense Ministry of Kazakhstan. "A Mi-17 helicopter of the Ministry of Defense of Kazakhstan crashed at about 8 a.m. today, August 22, 2012, while performing training flights near Astana airport. All four members of the crew were killed in the accident," the Ministry said. An interdepartmental commission has been created to investigate into the tragic accident. Representatives of the flights safety control and state aviation administration, Defense Ministry, prosecutors and military investigation administration of the Interior Ministry are working at the site of the accident. Causes of the crash will be found after the commission completes its work.
