From now on headquarters of the Asian Boxing Confederation (ASBC) will be located in Almaty. This decision was made at a special general assembly of the Asian Boxing Confederation held in Almaty on April 8-9, Naringe.kz website reports. “The fact that the Asian Boxing Confederation headquarters will now be located in Almaty is a historical event,” vice-president of the confederation Kenes Rakishev said. The new headquarters will soon be presented to the public and media. ASBC was reshuffled at the general assembly session on April 9. Kenes Rakishev, Vice President of Kazakhstan Boxing Federation was appointed Vice President Central Zone. Balansingam Subramanian (Malaysia) was appointed Vice President South East Zone. Mohamed Kamel Shbib (Syria) was appointed Vice President West Zone. Ganzorig Chimiddorj (Mongolia) was appointed Vice President East Zone. Doda Khan Bhutto (Pakistan) was appointed Vice President South Zone. “As for my development plans, Timur Kulibayev, head of Kazakhstan Boxing Federation, has already prepared the long-term program, and so far we have been implementing all the scheduled events,” said Rakishev.
