Rosatom's Director General Sergey Kirienko is to arrive in Kazakhstan to discuss construction of a nuclear power station in Kazakhstan, Tengrinews.kz journalist reports, citing Duisenbai Turganov, Vice Minister of Industry and New technology of Kazakhstan. “Mr. Kirienko is arriving to discuss nuclear cooperation issues with the Kazakhstan’s Government”, Duisenbai Turganov told at a press-conference in Astana march 29. Earlier Mr. Turganov announced that the nuclear power station was at the stage of feasibility studies. Today, when opening a forum on industrial innovations, he noted that “Kazakhstan is interested in attracting investments into processing industries. Enrichment issues are of interest. And investments are welcome. Extraction industries are already well-developed”.
