Presidential аid Nurlan Yermekbayev said that in future Kazakhstan will be aiming to transit to the parliamentary regime, KazTAG reports. “In future Kazakhstan will endeavor to transit from presidential-parliamentary to parliamentary-presidential or parliamentary system,” Yermekbayev said during a discussion in the Center for Strategic and International Studies in Washington. That is why, in his opinion, the coming presidential elections are important in defining the alignment of main political forces for parliamentary elections in 2012. The Aids to the President said that currently head of the state is supported by 80-92 per cent of the country population. Yermekbayev considers Nazarbayev to have the most chances to win the elections on April 3. In the meantime Kuandyk Turgankulov, Chairman of the Central Election Commission, said that polling stations in 35 Kazakh embassies are ready for the elections. The chairman however did not give details on the countries where polling stations are installed.
