A horrible car accident happened near Atyrau in western Kazakhstan, Tengrinews reports. The place resembled a battlefield even though no people were killed.
A Kamaz truck transporting 40 cows flipped over killing and wounding many of the helpless animals. The truck was driving to Atyrau city along the main road when an Opel car emerged suddenly from a small sideway. The car was driving too fast for the truck driver to react and avoid the collision. And the impact was so strong that the massive truck flipped over and fell into several pieces practically munching the front part of the small car along the way. Its airbags were a lame protection against the weight and power.
The truck driver got a couple of bruises, but the lady that was driving the unfortunate Opel was badly hurt and had to be taken to the nearest hospital with an array of injuries.
"I was not hurt, but now I don't know what I am going to do with all these dead cows. I have been driving along this route for 7 or 8 years, but nothing similar has ever happened to me before," the Kamaz truck driver Sagat Badyrashev said.
7 cows died in the accident, but that number is likely to grow.
